Green Protest was created in 2019 and languished in the artist's collection until 2021 when it was first exhibited at the Blue Tree gallery in York.
No one is quite sure what sparked the idea but the sentiment certainly resonates with many people. This painting is definitely a statement piece which probably belongs with an avid art collector.
The painting was first exhibited with the Blue Tree gallery in York way back in January 2020 just before we were all locked down due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is true to say that this piece has not been given a chance – until now. (we just cannot resist a pun).
