Painting outdoors is such a rare pleasure for me.

En plein air is such a pretentious term don't you think?

I like the immediacy of painting from life but I am not keen on the flies, the wind, the rain, the heat, the dust......  Maybe it's not such a pleasure and I should just stay home ha ha!

Seriously though. I do love the North Yorkshire countryside in summer particularly. And I hope this study stands testament to that. I can almost smell the growing maize crop every time I review the painting.

The prints are produced on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of colour.

All art prints include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting, if desired. Or, you can simply hang it unframed as poster.

I have hand-selected our American style Watercolor paper to print this art on. It's perfect for framing and it is satisfyingly rigid and textured which makes it suitable for hanging as a poster.

You will look at the countryside anew after you have lived with this little art gem for a while.
